Printmaking
Printmaking 1
Students are introduced to a number of traditional and contemporary printmaking methods such as monoprinting, monochromatic and color linoleum cuts, and intaglio printmaking. They are also encouraged to investigate a number of techniques, including line etching, aquatint, soft ground, spit biting & open biting, hand coloring and collagraph.
Students concentrate on developing their own visual vocabulary and their basic drawing and composition skills.
