Computer programming and mathematics teacher

A full-time position starting September 2010. Position involves teaching three levels of computer programming, taking students beyond Advanced Placement level, and mathematics, most likely algebra 2, precalculus, or calculus, as well as some administrative duties. Advanced degree and/or teaching experience preferred.

Biology teacher

Students describe their Project Week experiences. Assembly is at 12:05 p.m.; parents and alumni/ae are welcome.
In a special assembly on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m., we welcome Rory Stewart, who directs the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard's Kennedy School. His books include The Places in Between, an account of his walk across Afghanistan in 2001-02. Parents and alumni/ae are welcome.
Aurélie Théramène ’11, a Haitian-American violinist, is one of several featured performers in a concert to raise funds for the Stand with Haiti initiative of Partners in Health. The concert is Jan. 31 at 12:30 p.m. in Jordan Hall at New England Conservatory. The concert was organized by the Longwood Symphony Orchestra, whose members include English teacher Catherine Brewster, and the Conservatory.
