A teenage girl receives a letter in the mail from her Grandfather. He needs to tell her about the secret history of her family. It turns out that her family has been researching Atlantis for hundreds of years, and her grandfather has in his posession something that could change the world: he has proof that it existed.


Filmmaker Bio:

Brian Le Blanc ’94 graduated from Emerson College with a BA in film in 1999. After graduation, he started a film and video production company in the Boston area and began feverishly writing scripts set in “The Last Alchemist” universe. “The Last Alchemist” was intended as a prequel to these proposed feature films, but he decided to write a series of novels instead. He finished the first book in the three-part series this fall and is currently looking for a publisher. Brian lives in Seattle and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Information Management at the University of Washington.

Michael Dukakis was the governor of Massachusetts from 1975 to 1979 and again from 1983 to 1991. He was the 1988 Democratic nominee for president. Since his departure from elected office, Dukakis has remained active in public life, joining the faculty of Northeastern University and teaching at other universities. He is also a well-known proponent of mass transit.
