Collaborative Events


BUA and Commonwealth Joint Information Session
Wednesday, September 1
7:30–8:30 p.m.

Families are invited to join Directors of Admission from Commonwealth School and Boston University Academy to learn more about our academic programs and unique communities. We will share information about our respective schools, outline our admission processes, and offer time for a Q&A.

BISC Virtual Fairs
Tuesday, October 19, 7:00–8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 8, 7:00–8:30 p.m

Hear a panel of Admissions Directors from 19 Boston-area Independent Schools talk about mission-driven education, high academic standards, individualized student experiences, educating the whole child, and other topics relevant to the applicant's journey towards enrollment. The program will begin with a panel, followed by Zoom meeting rooms to allow families to connect with individual schools and learn more about their specific programs and admission processes. Registration for both events will open in September. In the meantime, save the dates!

There's such an amazing community. And that's the reason that I decided to attend Commonwealth. Everybody knows everybody else's name and seniors will hang out with freshmen. And that's just normal. And that's without even getting into the superb academics and extracurriculars offered here.
