Gather documents that you will need to complete your financial aid application. These documents might include 2025 pay stubs, utility bills, and statements related to bank accounts, credit cards, investments, retirement plans, major education or medical debts, mortgages, vehicles, and any non-routine, major expenses.

The Clarity application typically takes less than thirty minutes to complete, and it is mobile-friendly, so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return to it at any time. You will be asked to electronically sign and submit an IRS form, which gives Clarity permission to pull your tax return(s) from 2024, making the process even more efficient. At the end of the application, there is a $65 submission fee. Clarity automatically assigns fee waivers to families based on income and assets. If you are not assigned a waiver by Clarity, please reach out to us with any concerns about the fee. The deadline to complete the Clarity application is February 1.
