Visual Arts

Our three dedicated art studios—for drawing and painting, ceramics, and photography—are treasured spaces in our building, full of light and laughter. Students often spend their free periods there, working on their projects and learning from our talented faculty, all of whom work and exhibit as professional artists.

It’s both fun and challenging to involve yourself in wholly creative processes, and it's no surprise that Commonwealth artists regularly win awards in all categories of the yearly competitions sponsored by The Boston Globe’s regional and national Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
