Commonwealth is a small independent day school that occupies two brownstones in Boston's Back Bay. It is known for its academic rigor, strong program in the arts, and extensive use of the city of Boston. It attracts bright, motivated students from all over the Boston metropolitan area and, with the help of an unusually strong financial aid program, draws young people from a variety of backgrounds. Commonwealth School seeks highly qualified candidates for a wide range of teaching and administrative positions. While qualifications for each position will vary, all candidates should share a passion for the school's mission and a demonstrated commitment to supporting equity and inclusion in a diverse community.

While we do not have any open positions at the moment, we welcome inquiries for potential teaching, coaching, and other school-related professional opportunities.

Commonwealth School is committed to a policy of non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, ancestry, genetic information, veteran status, military service, application for military service, or any other status protected by applicable law.
