Dear parents,
Thank you for joining us for last night's town hall as we gathered again to discuss the extraordinary semester ahead. We hope we answered your questions about our return-to-school plans; if any remain, you are welcome to reach out to Bill Wharton or communications@commschool.org.
Please see below for recording info, as well as important updates about newly available class materials and links to more detailed information.
Town Hall Follow-Up Materials
Class Materials Ready for Pickup
The front office is assembling course books for those students who receive book grants from the school. Sourcebooks, planners, and other class materials—including lab kits—are also under preparation for all students in the classes below.
- Biology 1 only (Emma Sundberg)
- Chemistry: all sections (John Wolff and Rebecca Jackman)
- English 9 (Rikita Tyson)
- Modern European History (Audrey Budding)
- Music Theory (David Hodgkins)
- Spanish 3 (Mónica Schilder)
- U.S. History, Sections 203-01, 203-02, 204-01 (Melissa Glenn Haber)
Families are invited to come to the school to pick up the materials for these classes for their child(ren) on either Thursday, September 3, or Friday, September 4, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
If it is not possible to pick up materials at these times, students may pick them up on their first day in person at school. If getting to the school to pick up materials proves a hardship for students who are learning entirely remotely, please email communications@commschool.org.
