This spring, we announced that all six Commonwealth seniors recognized as 2022 National Merit® Scholarship Program Semifinalists were named as Finalists in the program's next round. 

We are now pleased to share that Daria Plotz ’22 of Chestnut Hill has been selected as a national winner. Daria, the child of John Plotz and Lisa Soltani, will receive a $2,500 college scholarship.

Daria was chosen out of a pool of approximately 15,000 students by a committee of college admissions officers and high school counselors. Scholarship recipients are selected based on a combination of academic and extracurricular criteria, including PSAT scores, course grades, and an essay by the finalist themselves.
