Mermaid Mixers

Initiated by the parents committee in 2010, Mermaid Mixers are gatherings hosted by Commonwealth parents to raise money for the The Commonwealth Fund. Many of these gatherings have featured a unique theme or activity — a magic show, yoga class, wine and chocolate tasting, performance by an Eastern European funk band — and some are simply festive cocktail parties or dinners.

The Mixers are always fun events and serve as a great venue for parents to gather and get to know each other while providing important support for the School.
